Hello everyone,

As many of you know I am leaving in three weeks. If you do not yet know, I am going to Brazil for twelve months. My name is Forrest, and over the next twelve months I will be documenting week to week my experiences on this trip. I will be spending my Junior year of High School in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The biggest city in South America. The area I will be staying in is a nice looking place by the name of Cidade Dutra, a section of many that makes up the vast city of Sao Paulo. I do not yet have much information on my host family, but I am looking forward to meeting them very much. Until that time, keep in touch. And thanks for listening.
